Anthony Berarco (b. 1995) is a New York-based photographer who studied fashion design before transitioning into film photography. He is best known for his unique and recognizable style that combines classical photography methodologies and principles with modern subjects. While Berarco looks to the past for inspiration and knowledge, his images represent a rebuke of the past discriminatory practices that attempted to make glamour accessible to only a select few. His images epitomize beauty in all forms, combining the details, styles, and colors of past eras with a fresh and revitalizing approach to modern image-making that puts quality above all else. Berarco specializes in beauty, fashion, and portrait photography, and he has worked for numerous high profile clients. He also guest lectures for FIT’s History of Fashion Photography course in New York City.
